MEDUSA RESTAURANT TAVERNA - Medusa Taverna is owned and run by the Foykakis family all sharing in the many tasks that make it the successful taverna restaurant it is to day, all the family are guided and helped by Emanuel who has more than 30 years experience in business, Antonio is the head waiter and Manos is the barman together they make a formidable team ensuring a true dining experience for all who dine at Medusa.

We are open all year in the Summer Season Taverna Winter time we are a traditional Greek Ouzeri. In the heart of the taverna you will find mama in the kitchen preparing the local traditional food that she learned how to cook from her mother and grandmother, she is helped by Ritsa training her, making sure that the family’s recipes are not forgotten.

Cretan Hospitality is famous all around the world so when you visit the Medusa Taverna it is like stepping into the families home you will receive the warmest of welcomes and will be treat like a long lost relation, whether visiting for the first time or returning again to visit. Our specialty is fish dishes so if you enjoy freshly cooked fish then we are the restaurant for you to try first.
